Bermuda Weather Info
Bermuda has a remarkably mild climate that seldom sees extremes of either hot or cold. During the winter months (December through March), temperatures average 70°F. The hottest part of the year is between May and mid-October, when temperatures range from 75°F to 85°F. Bermuda Transport Info
The Bermuda Government does not permit car rentals to visitors. However, you can rent motor scooters and bicycles, which are available throughout the Island. A few cycle liveries rent bicycles as well. No driver's license is required (children under 16 years may not drive motor scooters). Taxis are also available for hire, just call 295 4141 to order your cab. For a true Bermudian experience, hire a private horse and carriage. Or ride in a pink and blue bus or an open-air ferry. 1, 3, and 7-day Transportation Passes for unlimited use on buses and ferries are available.

Traveling To Bermuda Info
If you haven't booked your flight to Bermuda yet, here is some useful information for you. From North America's east coast, you can be in Bermuda in less than 2 hours. If you're coming from the United Kingdom, it'll take about 7 hours from London. Bermuda is serviced by Continental (800-231-0856), American (800-433-7300), Delta Airlines (800-221-1212), US Airways (800-428-4322), Air Canada (800-776-3000), and British Airways (0181/897-4000; 0345/222-111 outside London). Clicking the name of any of these airlines will take you to their website where you can check fares and availability, alternatively contact your local travel agent for these details.


Currency, Credit Card & Travelers Checks Info
Legal tender in Bermuda is the Bermuda dollar (BD$), which is divided into 100 cents. The Bermuda dollar is pegged to the US dollar on an equal (one-to-one) basis. This means that US currency is accepted at shops, restaurants, and hotels at equal (face) value. Other foreign currencies are not accepted but may be exchanged at local banks at rates that are set daily. Personal checks drawn on US banks may be used for purchases at over 200 establishments on the island. These include hotels, gas stations, liquor stores, restaurants, and retail shops. US checks may be cashed at some hotels or local banks by arrangement. The Bermuda Financial Network will cash US checks for a fee, it is located at 133 Front Street Hamilton Bermuda, and open Monday–Saturday, 8:30 am–5:30 pm, you can also contact them via telephone on 441-292-1799.

MasterCard®, VISA®, and American Express® are accepted at virtually every store, restaurant and hotel. VISA® and MasterCard® may be used for cash advances at all local bank branches. In addition, the Bank of Bermuda and the Bank of Butterfield provide ATMs located island-wide for Mastercard, VISA, Cirrus® and Plus® cash advances, most of which are available 24 hours a day. The Bank of Butterfield also accepts Link®. Visitors who need assistance with American Express should call the Bermuda Financial Network. There are two Western Union locations on the Island were visitors can rely on this fast, safe, and convenient way to send or receive money worldwide. These locations are The Bermuda Financial Network and Gibbons Deposit Company which is located at 21 Reid Street 1st Floor Hamilton and is open Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm, Saturday, 8:30 am–4:00 pm , tel: 441-296-6969 . Travelers checks are accepted island wide.
